| For me the images come through meditation. I use prayer to connect with universal energy with the intention to create art that is healing to those that view it. I believe artwork created with this intention contains an energy of healing that takes place through the optic nerve. The artwork carries this healing energy with it wherever it is placed. It creates an environment of peace, joy and harmony that resonates with all that see it reminding them either consciously or sub-consciously of the true light that they are. I have also been blessed with the opportunity to meditate on a person and create a painting that represents their "Soul Essence Image". The image comes with a channeled
explanation. It has been very rewarding to create over 200 of these and very meaningful for the recipient. |

JL. Munro is a contemporary painter that captures our interest in several ways - and in more than 35 years of painting, has achieved a great amount of recognition. Paintings by Munro are included in many important public and private collections: The Smithsonian Institution, The Clinton White House, Mrs. Barbara Bush Sr., Mrs. Ethel Kennedy, Estate of Mrs. Rose Kennedy, Smucker's Inc., Tropicana Inc., The John D. and Catherine T. Mac Arthur Foundation, The American Cancer Society, CDC., Atlanta, Museum of American Folk Art, N.Y.C., Estate of Dr. Benjamin Spock, Estate of Emmet Kelly Sr., Mr. Cliff Robertson, Estate Mr. Isaac Stern, The Beach Boys, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Whoopi Goldberg, and Penny Marshall is to list only a few.
Munro describes her canvases as "pictorial-history" or - that they are paintings - with a message - actually read by the viewer, like a page in a book. With a noted focus on the waterfront lives of everyday people, her favorite subjects are her native Massachusetts, New England, east-cost factory towns, and the Hudson River. Whether it is a bustling town street, or a quiet bayside, Munro is always striving for realism, and she carefully finishes each canvas to tell a story of American Life. |

| William Brody is a Signature member of the "National Oil and Acrylic
Painter's Society" and has been painting for over 34 years. His work has been
displayed throughout the United States in many juried and invitational
exhibits. The highly realistic paintings have received several awards and have found their way into many private and public
collections. Small town America is his favorite subject matter. I focus on an isolated section of a scene and bring to life
