Picasso inspired me to paint. Seeing his exhibition in Paris the variety, vitality, and strength of his work--I had little choice but to begin. Now, an artist myself, I've experimented with many media. I love the bold colors of acrylics, the magic of watercolors, the joy of monoprints--the endless possibilities of washes in black and grey. My purpose is to explore and experiment with a variety of media for the sheer joy of producing art that is colorful, strong, expressionistic and individualistic. There have been many influences in my work--Cezanne, VanGogh, Picasso, Matisse,  the Abstract Expressionists and to some extent, Andy Warhol.  I've studied at the Art Students' League in New York and with other encouraging teachers throughout my career. My name is listed in Who's Who in American Art and I'm a nominee for the next  edition of Marquis Who's Who in the World. Please click on image

What Mollie dreams of

I was born June 14th, 1949 in Atlanta , Georgia. Since then I've been lucky enough to travel the country and the word a little. I graduated from high school at Kaiserslautern American H.S. in Germany and came back to graduate from The Atlanta School of Art in Atlanta. My entry into the real art world was when I got a job at WTCG television ( now WTBS ) . It was a great job, met celebrities, worked with really good people. I went on to do various kinds of art ,graphic art, logos, paintings and drawings in numerous art shows ,festivals and galleries and so on. At some point, cartoon work became my focus and I started a line of
self published greeting cards ,did some monthly cartoon features in local magazines and published "The Saint George Island Coloring Book" The cartoon work has been so much fun for me and since I have always loved animals it came kind of natural for me.  Recently I have had a children's book, "Animals From A To Z " published through Trafford Publishing

Exuberance & Defiance

The way I draw for people is to connect with my spirit guides who may be a person(s) who has passed to the other side and the guides of the person I am doing the drawing for and ask them to guide me to draw something for that person that will bring them Peace, Love and Happiness and help them on their life path. Sometimes I receive inspiration through music, visions, dreams, or clairaudience. I have always been psychic but until recently I had always kept it a secret. One time when I was ten I found a contact lense on a playfield for a friend who had lost it. Friends used to call me Eagle Eye because I could find anything without seeing. I could sense where it was. Many times my intuition has prevented me from becoming injured or seriously hurt. By listening to my intuition I have seen amazing things and had many life changing experiences.

Many people are amazed at the messages they see when they look at their own psychic drawing. It's not just about seeing a picture but also about what the colors and shapes mean to you personally. They mean something different to each person.

From Austin, "Each drawing is like a new birth, something new and awe inspiring has come into existence and holds many messages for us to find. I encourage people to look at the drawings, meditate and add any insights you may get from a drawing. I am continually amazed at the beauty of each drawing and the powerful messages each one holds"
