From the German Romantic landscapes of Friedrich, to the Scientific Naturalism of American, Audubon, Russian, Tatyana Kuznetsova recalls the academic tradition of painting infused with her own sense of reality. A native of Russia, Tatyana Kuznetsova now lives and works in Norwood, Massachusetts.
Her diverse range of media includes oil, pastel, tempera, and gouache. Stylistically, her work ranges from realism to romantic symbolism, and surrealism. She approaches each painting as a living organism and introduces to each an individual sense of mood and narrative. She accomplishes this transference through careful and deliberate consideration of composition; the interaction of light and shadow, choice of color, and overall design of the canvas, principles drawn upon from her academic training and experience in graphic design. The results are eloquent compositions of harmonious line and color that have won her recognition and awards. Her works have been exhibited both regionally and internationally.

Beautiful Azaleas |

Louise is essentially a
fine art artist whose desire is to share with you the love, joy, peace and
beauty that her heart feels about the world in which we live. Her passion
is the beautiful things in nature, both fauna and flora and people of all
ages.
Her life is deeply influenced
by the Christian faith and its associated virtues. Her eager desire is that
you experience something of an intangible quality when viewing her work. She
wants you to be deeply touched with a goodness and wholesomeness that will
influence you in a positive way. She enjoys traditional paintings, but further
to this, she aims to produce responsive realism works, that is, to add poetry
which allows her to give you a unique view of ordinary things. Louise loves
old fashioned things perhaps because they remind her of a time when honesty,
integrity, loyalty, etc were very much promoted and practised in abundance.
Louise has adopted a serious
love of painting since 1993, although she was considered good at drawing
from a very early age. Her paintings reflect her life philosophy, that of
focusing on things that are positive, beautiful and uplifting. She has
ventured to share her viewpoint on life through participation in a number of
exhibitions in recent times. Her work is well received. Her experience as
Past President of the Pastel Society of Australia has enabled her to
encourage many in their pursuit of a career in the arts. Her long term goal
is to have others enjoy her creations and share in the love of all things
beautiful. Louise, a Master Pastellist with the Pastel Society of Australia,
has won a number of awards and regularly makes her paintings available for
sale. Her art
studies have been with Dale Crabtree for several years and then with a
number of high profile tutors in a workshop setting. She was also a
scholarship student at the Pastel

Although
Margaret has had no formal art training, she took up painting with the same
passion that has become a trademark of her life. Margaret's enthusiasm and
joie de vivre are evident in acrylic paintings that reflect a unique
impressionistic style and convey a feeling of warmth through the use of
vibrant colours.
A large source of Margaret's inspiration has come from her many travels
throughout the world, especially France and New Zealand. Since she started
painting in March of 2003, Margaret has found great success with both solo
shows, and works chosen each year at the juried Sooke and Sidney Fine Art
Shows. One of her paintings from the 2005Sidney show, "Easter Egg Hunt", was
bookmarked on the bi-weekly newsletter of internationally-renowned painter
Robert Genn. This electronic publication reaches over 135,000 artists in 105
countries. |
