Rick Sindeband:
jewelry

Rick Sindeband's fascination for gems and metals began as a child after moving to Colorado in 1959. Rick acquired his first gold nugget in the early 60's, and by age eleven was creating his own stones for jewelry on a lapidary machine he was given for his birthday. In 1992, he started his work at events and fairs, and in 1993 took First Place at the Pueblo Art Guild's annual show: The Winter Arts Festival. After that Rick and his Dad (Allan) opened the shop now known as Skystone and Silver. Rick has studied many techniques and finds that Susan Kingsley's work with die forming has given him the most direction of any one individual. Graduating from the Conner Jewelers Institute in Huntsville, Alabama also gave him some additional techniques and training that was necessary to create some of the work for which he is now so well known. He received his GIA Diamond Certificate in July, 1999, and is continuing his studies in the GIA Graduate Gemologist program.

Marilyn Ray Knopic: Designer Jewerry

All my jewelry I design and create myself, with every piece's humble beginnings worked out in detail at my jewelers bench. Throughout my life I have greatly valued the educating of oneself, and in doing so the advanced knowledge that is gained to me, is a very important aspect in whatever anyone may want to pursue. So when I attend the various gem and jewelry, fossil mineral and bead shows, I always have questions regarding the regions and any enhanced features of the hand selected gems and stones to create my pieces, as well as, already made artisan created jewelry to offer everyone.

My relationship with, as I call them so lovingly The 'lil Rock People, combine our energies to create a harmoniously balanced piece of jewelry. I am very aware of the subtle nuances the rocks themselves send out to me in finding just the right relationship with other stones and materials incorporated into a piece.

I also work in creating a resonant frequency thru the use of numerology in sacred ways, in using the four elements of nature, the five directions and the four sacred hoops to name a few.

In closing, the 'lil Rock People and myself aspire to co-create jewelry that harmoniously continues to send a positive energy flow out to the wearer . . . You!

Best to you all

Marilyn

Marion Berry: jewelry

As a jewelry artist, I use visualization to create my designs, therefore my imagination is my palette and the beautiful beads my inspiration. I refer to my designs as very wearable jewelry art created for both men and women. My designs are hand-crafted using gemstones, pearls, crystals, czech glass, lampwork glass, vintage glass, sterling silver, 14/20 gold filled and 14 karat gold components. My jewelry designs range from very casual to very elegant.
