Gibson
guitars have been around for decades this is partly due to the fact that
they produce a great sound. Gibson guitars are also
very resilient, meaning that guitars from 50 and 60 years ago are still
playing like they are brand new. Used Gibsons are one of the
better buys. They offer a quality sound, and can be obtained at a great
price.
The first Gibson Les Paul cost $210 and was referred to as the Gold Top. In
1958 Gibson Guitars began getting radical with their
body shape. They brought out the first double neck guitar. They also
introduced the Flying V shape and the Explorer shape. Some
well know artists that have played and still do play Gibson guitars are Jimi
Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Yngwie Malmsteen, Eric Clapton, Slash, Carlos Santana, Angus Young, Keith Richards, and the list
goes on.
